LETS is coming to the Kingston area!
We are delighted to announce that a new LETS program has commenced in the Kingston suburbs.
What is LETS?
LETS is a community based program where people and thier skills are valued.
How does it work?
Instead of parting with your hard earned CASH, you exchange your skills… it’s as simple as that! The Kingston/Bayside LETS program is a time based system which means that everybody’s time is equal.
Here’s an example.
Let’s say you needed your gutters cleaned, lawns mowed, or computer advice and you had to pay someone to do it. Instead, you would refer to your LETS Directory or contact your local LETS buddy to assist you to find someone available to do the work. It’s that easy… In return, you offer your services to a LETS member at another time.
Some of these services have been offered by LETS members...
Pet care, Dog Walking, Babysitting, Child Care, Transport, Web site design and advice, Cooking and catering, House Cleaning, Gardening & Working Bees, Fax services, Business help, Counseling, Financial Planning, Computer Advice, Computer Training...
